The sluggish economy has affected all parts of the industry, but Paris has been able to maintain and grow its business. In order to meet this increased customer demand, Paris has taken steps to improve production capacity by adding new equipment.

A state-of-the art collator was acquired over the summer to help meet customer demand for Paris’ cut sheet products. This new capability allows the company to expand its current product lines by producing collated sheets and sets, including carbonless and multi-color forms.

With the ability to accommodate varying sheet sizes and paper weights, the collator enables Paris to offer customers several additional products in the PrintWorks Professional and DocuGard lines. Cupped suction and air-blasted lifters ensure accurate sheet separation and reliable feeding. Programmable memory and push-button operation allow for efficiency and versatility between job changeovers. With this expandable, modular collator, cut sheet production and packaging time have already been greatly reduced. This is critical to maintaining the high level of quality assurance and quick turnaround that customers expect from Paris.
